Open day at Beckenham Fire Station on Saturday 15 August

Today, The West Wickham and Hayes local police teams supported an event held at the Beckenham Fire station, which was their stations open day. Inviting the public to come and enjoy, engage and interact with the London Fire Brigade, Metropolitan Police service and the London ambulance service also present were members of the Army. Even the Bromley Mayor turned up to meet and greet attendees.

The event was very well attended, with all the families enjoying their interactions with all the emergency services present, be it sitting in a police car or jumping up into the fire truck. Some even learnt CPR and lifesaving skills.
